Had my aircon regassed a few weeks ago. That £50 was worth every penny. I found sitting in traffic almost pleasent today...how many cup owners can say that ;)

Cups owners with CC eg Mr White. You have no say on the issue. :rasp:

never use my a/c anyway, sunroof is what its all about!

Obviously its all personal preference but i dont get people who have ac and dont use it. IMO its all about sitting in a cool car not breaking a sweat, arriving to where your going fresh.

Yeah right, what ever:rolleyes:. Set it to auto and it kicks in regularly this time of year and it's a joy to have. Lol at the people that think there more of a man or something by not turning there's on imo.

19-20 degrees, auto and if necersary backed up by recirculate on a day like today. Perfection.

Had AC in my 405, Legacy, Vectra and Escort. Only worked in the Vectra. Always fogged the window up and stank like a tramp's armpit.

I'm a windows down man. AC gives me a headache, the air is too dry.

I wouldn't mind a sunroof, however.

You are advised not to open your window on the motorway for fuel efficiency, how much does sunroof effect it?

Thanks

I don't know, but it makes one hell of a woofly buffetting sound if you have a sunroof open without cracking a window down a notch.

The only time I miss aircon is in the winter when the windows need demisting. Our summers are never so hot that an open window or normal fan blowers can't do the trick.

Wait until it's really summer: the 'windows down' people won't be able to post on here because they'll be soaking in the bath trying to cool down!

i prefer the windows down to A/C but then i cant blast out my tunes! So A/C if i'm in traffic or driving through town, windows down on open road!

Lol, how EVER did people survive before air con?!? Oh yeah, they weren't pussies!

Oms: let me know which day of the year is REALLY summer so I can book it off work!

Yeah a nice bonus but in no way essential with the weather we have for 330 days of the year. I've had cars with air con and climate and I never used it that much...

CC is mainly great for hangovers, or seeing how cold you can make the inside of the car in winter.
