Sorted out my 4 pots

I have been very unimpressed by compbrakes/shed four pot kit since it was fitted. No initial bite, poor feel and lacked power. They were worse then standard.

I went for the easiest option and brought some new pads which I fitted tonight. Spot the problem?

The pic shows the old glazed pads compared to a new pad.

I went for Hawk again as they were easiest to source but more of a trackday pad as opposed to fast road.

Anyway what a transformation they have made. Its a challenge to not lock the wheels when you brake hard. still a bit of a strange pedal feel but I will be more prepared to get used to it now the power is there.

Glad you sorted the brakes out.

Did you not notice the pads were glazed when you fitted then?

Angelworks fitted them. They may have got cooked initially when there was air in the system. Long stopping distances due to lack of pressure on the disk and alot of friction heat building up.

Glad you sorted them and are happier with them. Mine have been spot-on since i have had them, but i have DS2500 pads in mine.
