Sound deadening

I just wondered if its worth getting some of this as i do get a fair few rattles from the install and ive just had my exhaust fitted and it sounds great outside but its a bit load inside. Will sound deadening make much of a difference? Is there much difference between Dynamat and Dynamat extreme?

yer defo worth doing doors well - all over at least 1 layer, boot would be good as well - if you want done properly - roof lining ect ect!!

Dynamat and Dynamat extreme? - if youve got the money - use extreme - if not use Dynamat, if you want to go budjet use marley tape - cheap but you have to do more layers.

Is the extreme stuff just thicker than the normal stuff? would i get the same effect from just using more than one layer?

Extreme is thinner than normal dynamat , it is alot better but then again it is so expensive . If u dont intend to compete with ur system then i would recomend marley tape

This might sound like a stupid question but what is marley tape and where can i get some from?

i guess its the same as flashing tape which you can get in B&Q for £15 for a 10m roll. I think its 225mm wide.
