Still undecided on what i'm doing. The past few years I've travelled up the night before with, and to meet up with the v6 crew, staying locally at various different hotels and guest houses. Nice and social, with a few drinks and having a laugh. So thats a convoy AND a night out! Hmmm..
Equally, no stranger to early morning starts for the convoy up in the morning.. used to do convoy up with Connor and co. back in the day, when I had my 182.
So, great fun either way... I'm going to see how things go, may possibly be staying in Northampton at our midlands "Hotel California" accommodation, including BBQ.. big up to Godber and family!
Also need to consider minimising costs this year... 5 year service on the vee..
I know I can always join you guys for the convoy up at the last minute.

Last time I convoyed up I think the route was M27, M3, A34 and beyond so stopped at Winchester Tesco and Chieveley Services. Not sure if there was a stop before Winchester but that would be somewhere like Hedge End possibly?

I think the gates open at about 7:30am so earlier the better to get on the stand.

Tbh, it's gonna be an early start at like 4:30am if you want to arrive then hence why I'm going the night before.
