SP2 On Vista

one of the guys in my old college class says he updated and it fucked his laptop. i keep gettin wee pop ups askin to update. just wonderin if anyone on here has installed it ? and if they've had any problems ?

There is only a SP1 AFAIK? I had no problems with it.

Its not a final release so thats probably why it killed the laptop

In that case I've not had any problems with SP1 nor has my Mrs.

a) He has s**t hardware
or
b) He doesn't know how to use it properly

Every desktop/laptop on our network is running it no probs
