spare wheel threaded pole thingy

this is the pole where you screw in the spare wheel tools and jack.

if i remove it, can i weld it back on again?

thinking of putting a subwoofer in the spare wheel well . . .

Drill the spot welds out then you can nut and bolt it back later.
Dont forget your tank is under there.

you can build a sub box in there with the thread still there... i did

i even used the thread to bolt the sub box down to secure it

12" alpine with the custom made box fitted in fine... sounded good too

yeah, its got a top layer of mdf that sits on the wooden beams thats screwed down, then the carpet it glued to it
