Speakers??

Just fitted a new JVC headunit in my 1.2RL to find that firstly the standard speakers are poo, also no rear ones fitted. Now the multiplug on the cars loom appears to have enough wires in it for four speakers yet i can't see them in the bootspace, anyone know where they'll be? The wires that is!

Also need to upgrade the existing speakers, headunit is 4X45w. Don't really want to cut panels about etc so can i get decent upgrades to fit existing speaker locations that will handle the headunits power?

I have the same model of car, and only have the from ones, the rears are located at the back right of the car. If you look there should be grills, the speakers are just bolted in there, i think the other phase 3 models came with them as standard such as the 1.4 maxim., but not the 1.2 models.

I had to supply my own speakers for the rear in my phase 3.

Now, what i did was found the wires for the rear speakers, then spliced into them, and ran my own cabling.

However the iso plug does have rear speakers, look for the white with purple cables.

As for the front speakers, i found it hard to find speakers that had a low profile due to the front grills. I still havent found any good ones yet.

If anyone does have any they can recommend i would love to hear what you fitted.

i think the some of the pioneer 10cm ones are okay to sit under the front grills as they are quite flush, go for about £20 on ebay, this is on my to do/get list lol.
