speed camera detectors...

anyone know where i can get a detector cheapish. I was in a taxi at the weekend pissed up (as you do) and this taxi driver was saying his was 70 quid and he swears by it. I cant afford to get any more points so will prolly have to get one.

Anyone got one that they could recommend?

prob more false alarms than actually ones also warning will be no-existent

mines a bel 990i bought a while back but its f**king unbelievable paid 300+ but gives me easy 500 yards warning for gitsos but doesnt work on anything else dont know why

i had a snooper 815i which was good but my new bell 550 kicks ass but was pricey

problem is most new cameras dont use radar so u need a gps one really

Got my cobra from Ebay for £50. Detects about 9 variations of radar, and laser.

Doesnt detect police cars in side roads or in police picnic areas just off of the hard shoulder on the motorway.

It works well on reflections from other cars, so I get plenty of warning.
