Speed limiter button

  Westfield, 182, 200
Silly question, but hopefully easy answered.

Should the speed limiter switch stay down the same as the cruise control?

My RS200 did, but the 182 I have now flicks back to the middle off position. It all works correctly if I hold the button down.

Cheers, Ian.

Yes. Mine operates the same in either cruise control or speed limiter. Like a rocker switch, so stays down on which ever side you press

Thanks for that, thought my switch was faulty.

Will have a look tomorrow to see if I can repair it.

Cheers, Ian.

I'm guessing the light on the dash flicks on and then flicks off as the switch goes back to it's central position? Unlike if you try it in cruise control the light stays on?

That's right. My RS200 would stay in place and the light stayed on! First time I've used it on the 182.

Piece of cake to fix as well, take switch out and take the top cover off to reveal 2 V-shaped bits of metal at each end and just increase the angle of both so they have more of a point to them and job done! reassemble and should work perfectly again!:D

Beat me to it!!

Found the same problem as you had described-sorted!

Took 10 mins and cost nothing.

Cheers, Ian.
