speedline 2118 for Cup ?

  RS RIP
I've done the search and found plenty but....;)

-Do 15" wheels actually make the ride a lot better and does the weight-difference make it accelerate faster ?

-Does the ET 38 make the wheel come IN a little bit or OUT ?

-when running the 195 tyres it will not be nessescary to do the arch/mod to prevent scrubbing ? (running H&R setup)

love the looks of ´em, will be the only one in Holland i think

thank you !

ET38 means the wheel is further out, the best size tyre is 205/55 15

the wheels are very heavy, but very strong

Will accelerate a little faster on the 15's, but not by much as the tyres will make wheel circumferance almost the same.

Et38 will be almost exactly the same as standard cup size, so dont worry.

195/50/15's will not scrub. How much camber are you running?

Fred - mine scrubbed on 205/50's, i dont think 205/55's would even fit under the arches on it! Thought it felt really unresponsive on teh 205's, 195's were much livlier.

cheers Fred, that's one very important one answered...

I would have thought lighter , making it more attractive for me. Shame...

But in all they may weigh the same (with tyres) in comparison.... standard 16"Turini / 15"Speedline2118

mounted the H&R last month and left the camber standard/neutral on emergency drivehome-setup after fitting. Wanted to wait till it settled in for final adjustment. Next week i will be going for 1,5 negative.

yes, 15 inch will be the one and i think i prefer the 195

I've already noticed a lot of scrubbing i get now on hard curving, because of the bumper-bracket. Chris172Cup has been very kind to explain how to overcome this by cutting parts away. Is there a(-nother) way to maybe heat up the mount and bend it away from the wheel cause i'm paranoid of blowing a tyre at 70mph in one of the best/fastest curves around here

and no problems (this scrubbing) whatsoever when running the ET38 speedlines with 195 tyres ? , that sounds good

trust me, 205/55 15 is 1,000,000 times better

wow, 55??

I've seen in the search that someone had 50.

Fred, i will need to completely remove my archliners running these ? I do'nt want all this dutch dirt/mud up my enginebay etc. !

I just left my arch liners in, it slowly wears away the liner in front of that bracket, but very very rarely scrubs it. Wont do any harm.

I was running 3' neg camber, so cant comment on scrubbing with h&r's.

I had more trouble with trying to get it not to scrub the shock, lol!

I left my bumper bracket on, it hardly ever scrubbed.

Only really got scrubbing with 205 tyres, and that was running 5mm spacers too.

Took spacers and tyres off, put 195's on, problem solved.
