Speedo not working intermittantly

Hey guys, pretty new to this, have got a 172 cup and am having some problems with the speedo, after driving for about 30 mins the speedo stops working, it doesn't happen on every journey id prob say 3 out of every 5, its starting to get on my nerves tho, has anyone had this problem. If so how did you resolve it.

Ye it's the speedo sensor happened on mine just after I bought it there not that much from renualt if I remember correctly

yeah sensor def. mine went and drove round for ages with out a speedo, cost me 3points and 60quid fine.

sensor only 25quid at the most.

just take it to a auto electric garage charge u about £40 i think.
its the sensor beside the gearbox i think?

cheers will get a new sensor in the week.
