spent a 100 on interior

Its been quite a day for spending money on my car

bought a new gear knob and gaiter...had the gear knob off in 10seconds...clearly mole grips are a bit easier than a hack saw

i just sliced off the rubber then gave it a couple pulls and hey presto.

i then fitted a nice set of ripspeed aliminium pedals...what a job

took bloody ages to drill through those steel pedals..done now

I then fitted a neon in my boot, works off the boot light...no wires and looks quite good

so off to the pub now to watch scotland win hopefully!



p.s.i had a slight accident when crimping a wire and sliced a chunk out my thumb lots of blood, but a good plaster seems to have sorted it!

lol, presumably he means it is wired to the boot light, so that on opening the boot the neon comes on..

I did this about 6 years ago to my old 1.4 escort that came to a tragic end after an encounter with a VW beatle..

i did that too, took out the boot light and fitted a neon one in my boot install.

yeah thats right just incase you bodge it and they snap/fall off while driving and cause a crash!!
