Sport lowering springs on non sport?

  Derv 65, MPG > BHP
Morning campers,

Basically I'm thinking of putting 40/50mm lowering springs from a 172 onto a 1.5 dci 65.
Is this retarded/dangerous or workable? Both are mk2 ph2s, but I'm no suspension expert so any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

I think they'd physically fit, but the sport springs are designed for the heavier sport engine, so you may find that you'd have negative rake (front higher than the rear)

You're always best off getting parts that are design for your specific car.
