hi Guys

Sprint here, one of the Moderators from the UKLegacy.com Forum, we met on the San Berdino pass in September :) We'd planned to try meet you guys Saturday, but I sadly missed you, as I was too busy blowing my Engine up on the GP circuit, so missed you! :p

Anyway, Just been looking at some youtube videos, and I just spotted this...

give it a watch, see if you spot something you recognise at Adanue bridge towards the end :)

Enjoy :)

Yeah good thanks! It was a hell of a trip, I've got something like 850Gb of footage to edit together though, got a few teaser trailers already cut if your interested in seeing? :)

Cheers for the video. Mine was the silver one behind the yellow one. Gutted we didn't catch you guys there, we went a day early too! I signed up on your forum and posted the photos from the San bernadino. May I add, what a road!!

No Problem Stu

Yeah that was a stunning road! Here's the trailer of this years run, which includes the Pass as well as the ring, and the other places we visited :)

We use full size CB radios. About £100 for the radio and antenna. Most of us use the full 1.89meter wii antenna's, and the've been split up by up to 9k before, and still been able to reach each other load and clear at ech end...

They've a lot bigger than hand helds yes, but one a trip like ours, they are worth there weight in gold :)

If you need any advise, drop us a line, we've become quiet the experts :P

I'm getting one for next years trip!

We had handhelds and lost signal just round the corner from each other!

Yeah its all todo with the antenna's. We can still get 2 or 3 miles in towns and built up area's, which when your trying to navigate a convoy of 9 cars, and someone gets tagged at the lights, their an utter god send! :) If you guys are going something like it again, it'll be the best £100 you send. We have it as a requirement before we'll let people come on the trip, and we even take a spare radio or two amongst the group incase one fails.
