Spray paint help

am wanting to colour code my door handles mirror caps and bump strips to the same colour of my car, ive rubbed them down and going to prime them but how many layers of coloured paint should i put on please?

I don't think there are rules when it comes to how many, but i always do 3 of each and everything has turned out fine.

Just enought for it to be the right colour I guess?

How many coats could depend on so many things.

ahhh right ok cool i was under the impression that there was like a set number of coats you were meant to put on it
