Iam looking to brighten up my interior and fancy changing the colour of a couple of interior parts like ashtray lid and coin holder and vents etc.
just wondering if anyone knows how to do this properly to prevent it from peeling or crumbling off and looking Poo-ski after 5 minitos
any ideas or even a guide would be fantasia land
Cheers peeps

i did my hole interior in my zr...
just got to make sure that it is properly preped...
id say 2 coats of primer with a slight rub down using 1200 wet n dry in between and then 2 coats of the colour with the same again with 1200 wet and dry...
i went for 3 coats of primer with a final gentle..i mean gentle rub down with 1200 grit...that will give it a nice shine:)

yeah obv plastic primer should be used.....
if ya want silver then audi silver is pretty good like from halfords...

make sure you use 600 wet and dry before ya prime it....give it as good rub down...you want to get it quite flat like cos plastic has a very unevan surface close up so thats why it peels after a while like
