Will these be ok for my car and if so will i just need these or will i have to buy anything else

aslong as your car is a 172 or 182 and was built between the years of 1999 or 2005 they will 100% fit.

and also they lower 40mm alround.

Shortened Shocks from reading the ad !!

so you think i need shorter shocks to or do they just recomend on using them

ideally with lowering springs you should use a shortened strut to avoid accelerated wear on the damper. How much life is left in the dampers is anybodys best guess. The damper may potentially last longer than you have the car, but it will wear faster..
