Squeeking front brakes

A few weeks ago, I started hearing squeeking (very loud) from the front of the car under braking (seems to be front right).

I changed my discs & pads this week and it's still there, but doesn't occur as much....Any ideas anyone?

I did use copper grease btw.

have same problem, and also used copper grease! i was told it common and just known as the 'renault squeak' but who knows i have just learnt to deal with it

This is quite loud now, it seems to be when I first start driving, after a few times of breaking it goes, anyone know how to sort this because I don't want potential buyers of my car think there's a problem.

could just be cold pads.
drive it around the block before ur potential buyers arrive

it happens when the pads get a bit of a shine on the face, take them out and rough the face of the pad up and it should be fine

the squeel should go away after the new pads have beded in....

Lol i used to have a squeek on my old 1.2 too, nothing to worry about tbh.

yeah grit paper/ rough file etc, thats what i do and they fine after that
