SS cat back pipe ?

I currently have a renault sebring backbox on my 1.4 16v dynamique and It looks nice and subtle, only problem is it sounds just a little too subtle :rasp:

If i got my standard pipe cat back replaced with a SS jobby would it be louder ?

Also does the standard exhuast have a centre box ? because I had a look and couldn't see one :S

How much roughly would a cat back SS system be without the backbox.

Yes mate, just replace the boxed OE centre section with a stainless item.

I removed the centre box of my Milltek recently... it was the best £50 i've ever spent on the car!

Speak to JP Exhausts in Macclesfield if you want the best!

I'm hoping with a smaller engine (1.4) It will still sound raspy not boomy because then I would be gutted

If you wanted to be pikey you could just cut the centre box out and weld a peice in. Any exhaust place will do it.....

Rather keep it uncut and get a seperate one, then I will have a whole standard system and a whole "Sport " system !

So i can put it back to standard easily.

Up to you mate! Obviously a new cetre section is gonna be miles better, cutting it out is cheapness though and its essenrially the same thing.....

JP Exhausts will charge you around £50 for a brand new section!

You couldn't mod the OE section for much less
