Stage 1 complete (exhaust)

  Mazda MX5 1.8

despite of what everyone seems to say on here it fits pretty well and quality seems pretty good..... its the silenced one so its got an extra silencer in the middle (where the std one is) - sounds deep on tickover and nice and quiet in mids and when goin hard it gives a bit of a rumble (sounds like a scooby imo).... money well spent (or seems so at the mo)

coilovers to be fitted  (scared!!)
  Mazda MX5 1.8

me and dad did it so at least we/i know what to do incase something breaks

what a joke those bloody renault rubber hangers are!!! utter pieces of sh1t design

sounds class tho!! :D
  Polo + Micra

are they fk coilovers?

looks good. notice and difference in pull with it fitted??

one of my rubber hanger things was missing when i had my exhaust fitted

yeah they r fks but not fitted yet

thats gonna be a job for fri & sat next week as i fear it might be a bit tricky

havent noticed much difference as ive only had a quick blip down the road and back
  A well built VW

The shape really suits the car - Where did you buy the coilovers from , tempted to do this myself but they are god damn expensive , keep the pics coming as you mod it maybe wash it nexttime tho ......;)
  Mazda MX5 1.8

got them both from ktec

exhaust is gonna look a lot better once its sooted up inside then it wont be so obv that the exit is a trim sort of thing

  V6, R500, Jeep SRT

Dude what did u pay from k-tec for the coils? Im about to shell out 473 for mine...Jus making sure im not gettin ripped off
  K20 EG Hatch

can you pm me too, want a set of fk coil overs (again) in the very near future. Paid £450 for a second hand set but would be nice to know of somewhere i can get em brand new for a reasonable price.

  Mazda MX5 1.8

update: deffinately more responsive - revvs more freely and more nippy as far as i can tell

badly needs sooting up tho as the tailpipe looks crap inside when its shiney
  Polo + Micra

good to hear:D

i noticed the diffeence on mine too (probably due to getting rid of the silly bore size of the oem exhaust)
  Mazda MX5 1.8

yeah might have to take the middle bracket off tho as i put it on the wrong way around to the std one

dunno seems to be holding for the mo - do u think it matters?

will have to see how it looks when fitting coilovers this weekend
  Scenic mk1 (F3R)

ask has he got his cheep not sure how much but they were cheep and i think he got them direct from fk

hope that helps: Dan

Cool, so youve done an engine transplant as well? Put a flat 4 in there?
  Not a Clio
