stalling

every now and then not all the time when i stat my car up the red light flashes and it stalls. sometimes it starts second time others third.but its rly random and has been going on for around 2-3 weeks now but doesnt seem to get any worse. before i send it in to be plugged in i was thinking could it be coil pack if so i will change myself or maybe the ignition leads/ and help would be much appreciated

its something to do with the UHC box for the immobiliser as far as im aware. occurs every so often for me. Either that or dodgy tdc sensor. The choice. is yours.

Erm, i was told it was the imobiliser but since having a new alternator fitted it has never failed to start.
