standard 172 wheels

how much do these normally cost to buy 2nd hand in decent condition? The ones on mine have been well mullered by a previous owner, and at £40 a wheel to get refurbed, wondered if i'd get a set with no tyres for not much more?

i sold mine for £160 with tyres.

bloody hell, cheaper than getting them refurbed then! I have 4 brand new conti's on mine so tyres no problem. I'll start searching the usual for sale places then.

A chap I work with has a set for sale mate. He said they're not mint, but in pretty good nick. I'll ask him for some pics when I'm back at work if you like?

Yeah no sweat mate. He's got a 197 now and has the wheels off his old 172 in his garage. I'm back to work on Monday so I'll see if he's still got them.
