Standard Alarm on Y Reg Dynamique

Probably a simple reason for this but Ive not got a clue.

On my Y Reg 1.4 16v Dynamique + when I use the remote to lock the car it normally flashs the hazard lights twice, but about one in ten times it will do this three times and makes a normal alarm sound.

I dont think Im doing anything doing different but I must be.

Can you tell what Im doing and what it does, cheers.

the dynamiques didnt come with alarms standard did you have one fitted at the dealer like me?

it will have the red led (another one) to the left of the gear stick if so.

it will beep if you turn it on too quickly shut the door then give it a few seconds to sort itself out.

try this and let me know.

Yep, just been outside and there is a LED next to the gear stick.

I shut the door and did it really quickly and it still didnt blip.

when it is armed it should not make any sound, the 182 alarm has a fault with somw of them try a search, but think it will be a different alarm to this really. try a search and see if it is the same problem
