Standard Headunit Connections

Hi all,

Went to put the standard headunit back in, this is an 05 182 Clio and I think im missing a cable?

Is something meant to fit to the yellow cable? If so where does this cable come from?

Its an extra plug for the cd changer should be a green plug you may not have it but the radio works perfectly normal without

Must be something wrong with it then as it doesnt display anything on the screen? lights up fine and beeps when pressing any button but no display

sounds like you didn't put in the radio code....
turn it on and leave it on until you see code on the display.

Left it on for a fair while - Just does nothing...

isn't there supposed to be a connection for both the steering wheel control as well as the display on top of the dash?

Will be something to do with the yellow connector (stalk controls), as the display will remain blank if this is not connected correctly - as suggested try moving it down a slot

the yellow connection should only fit into one hole...

Thanks guys - All sorted & like said had it in the wrong slot!

Didnt think to try the other slot just because the shape of the connector didnt match but it did perfectly on the other side!
