Are they mp3 CD compatible?

Mine came with the car (had an aftermarket stereo already installed which I've no replaced). So i've got plans to use it and it's on ebay at the moment, someone has asked if it will play CD's made on a PC.

And I have no idea! have tried search and looked on google but no luck.

does anyone know?

its from a 2003 and is a "tuner list" one if that makes any difference?

My standard 182 hu plays aac files from itunes but does not play mp3, i've heard the later hu's in the mk3 clios might play mp3 but dont know how true that is, Getting my 197 tomorrow so will find out one way or another

its not mp3 compatible no but it will play ripped cds from a pc. just not mp3 cds

Your standard 182 HU played mp3's ???? How's that work then, Every 182 owner i know who has a standard hu states it dont play mp3's

Standard 172/182 etc etc will not play mp3's

MK3 clio's eg 197's will only play mp3's if you have had the upgraded mp3 compatible stereo fitted.

aye sorry not mp3 just ripped cds lol
