Standard pads and discs

To my knowledge, my 172 has the above. I bought the car on 41k and it's now on near on 66k.. should the standard pads and discs have lasted this long? :p

I'm gonna have a check tonight and see if there's much material left on them, but tbh I haven't noticed any loss of braking power and there's been no squealing.

Just strikes me as odd :p

I'm not sure how new the discs/pads were when I bought the car, but to have lasted this long I'd have thought fairly new..

Clearly not :p

I was going to add, I don't drive like a girl I just know how to use my brakes properly and not ride on them all the time ;)

I had, as far as I know, the original discs on mine until about 71k, although mine has been a motorway cruiser for most of it's life. The rear discs wear down very, very slowly.
