Steering angle fault light ...confused

I know there are various threads on this but I can't understand why I have the fault

I fitted a retrimmed snappy wheel so all I did was take the old wheel off and put the snappy wheel on.

I can only presume something in the sensor position unit the wheel bolts onto has moved but there seems little to it.

There is a black ring with 2 slots in which the wheel locates into.
Is there something else on this unit which moves separate to the ring.

Is there a way to re set the position or similar or does it require a software plug in

You can reset them by spinning the internal collar. There should be a coloured indicator ball but can't remember what colour it should be off top of my head.

Thanks boys. Sorted. Somehow it was really out of kilter. As you've said, there is a coloured dot in the top left corner, it was blue, I turned the collar til it went yellow.....bingo. Thanks again
