Steering rack differences between ph1 172 and 1.2

Just wondering if the steering rack is any different between the Ph1 172 and the 1.2 as i have only driven a 1.2 thus far and this imo is a major issue which may affect my choice for the 172.

i know the steering wheel is the same size but the rack speed worries me.
