What else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon whilst its zero degrees than wash a car and fall about laughing at one of Steve's neighbours with a bad case of torrets. Tom, he's after you!
So, taking instruction from Steve, so began a 3hr bodge job of a detail.
Washed the car with Fairy liquid and some fancy stuff that smelt nice. Apparently you don't use sponges anymore!?! Madness. Car having done Cadwell 2 weeks ago was fairly dirty.
Then Benson and Rem arrived and helped out.
Good work Tom.
After washing I did the wheels with some vile smelling stuff that smelt of acid. Used a furry brush to agitate and then rinsed off! Discovered later i'd missed loads, so did them again with the mit thing.
Three of us then clayed the car. Now I thought the car was already clean, but I was quite shocked as the clay stuff turned black instantly. Steve looked shocked.
Benson didn't know what he was doing and was now scared as the guy with torrets was shouting out the window calling him a cnut.
After the claying had finished out came the machine and Steve put some even nicer smelling stuff on it!
Nice hair!
That got buffed off! Then it got waxed, it got dark and we went down the pub.
I then spent literally an hour with some more fancy carbonara wax yesterday doing another coat!
Should look clean for a good week before the trees drop more sh!t on it!
Thanks to Steve again for his help. Oh and cheers Tom.
