Sticky :(

Car  Sunshine Bus ph-quick
Some tard who owned my Millie pants before me decided it'd be the best idea in the world to stick the mats to the floor carpet with double sided sticky tape.
Yeah good one, except its now all dirty & not sticky & looking a mess!
Its not even holding the frigging mat!

Anything gonna shift it or do I follow tard suit & stick some more tape on it :(

Just crack the hairdryer on it.

Or just straighten your hair in the car, so when you leave them on the floor it serves a purpose! :P

Meow ;)

I dunno what to suggest without having a look at it chick....if it's on the carpet I'd be loathe to put any kind of solvent on it, which would normally get rid of sticky residue...

i thought this was going to be an interesting thread what with the title! i feel short changed now! :o

hair dryer should help! ;)

Paul...."Sticky" on its own yes....would have given some interesting and thought provoking images in one's head.

"Sticky" with a sad face however....kinda tells you its not going to be what you think it is....;)

Its all melted (sorta) into the actual fluff of the carpet so I reckon hairdryer & melting it will just make and even bigger mess!

TBH Gems its rank! lol.

Why anyone would glue mats to the floor is beyond me :S

As for removing the gooey mess perhaps some thinners, white spirit, nail varnish remover etc etc

Nail polish remover may help???
I have used it before and it disolves glue...

^^^been beaten to it!! lol

i love white spirts! :)

Lol yeah good for those wheels

To be honest I'm suprised they actually get dirty enough to warrant using spirirts on them.

LOL i only used them on them when i first got it! 16k on the clock with out a 'Paul' clean! :o

but i do love the stuff! its only a pound! great for cleaning any over spray/removing ground in dirt!! and if you run out of brandy add a bit of white spirts in your lemonade and your away :rasp:

Don't use acetone! The smell will stay in there forever lol!

U need an alcohol based solution that will evaporate and leave minimal odour. Like methylated spirit...

Also....what about a metal grooming comb? Run that through the carpet fibres after gently heating with the hairdyer? Beats picking it out by hand!

this thread gets better! girls helping other girls ;) we need more of this on c/s! :approve:

Ill get back in my box! :rasp:

Go down you local diy place and get a stain devil thing for removing glue from fabric. I viol there only about 3 squids
