Straight Through Milltek (Vid on the 27th)

I had this fitted about 6 weeks ago now.

I picked the back box up for FOC from Ben aka 'BingoBanjo' off here, it was over 100 mile each way and did cost me a splitter but definitely worth it in the end. He showed me what the milltek would sound like and it was mint but i knew it would be worth having a straight through centre section to give it a better sound.

The system did have the usual weld problems at the backboxes but nothing that couldnt be fixed. Cant grumble at a free back box so a big thanks to BingoBanjo again.

I then took a trip to Jam-Sport to get the welds fixed, a centre section made up and the exhuast fitted with brand new hangars. There was a problem getting it to sit right but a little fondling did the world of good.

I also asked them to leave the tips sticking out a touch.

Im banned atm so cant get a video but i'll have one up on the 27th.

Overall it feels the car pulls a bit more all through the revs and the sound is awesome! Very very addictive. I want a decat to free up some more horses but im not sure if it would be too loud, ive seen videos of Christophers but id want to hear it in person tbh.

Anyone know if the Yozza decat will fit the 2.5'' centre section? The renault cat is smaller so the lads a jamsport improvised with the above.

Ye i feel it pulls better, maybe placebo but im sure i can feel it.

And it sounds perfect, maybe a bit too addictive though :rasp: But its nowhere near too loud, on the motorway you cant even hear cruising under 75/80

I want to hear one first, im thinking it might make it too loud inside the car. Whats it like on the motorway chris?

The fact it's so raspy means that it doesn't really "boom" on a long run, which is handy.

ooo fair enough, thats a result then i got a scorpion decat here, that can go back on, i was under the impression that if you had a milltek cat back you needed a milltek decat,

only the pic of the cat really shows a bad restriction ; the pipe goes from 2,5 inch way down to what looks like 1,5 at the cat join ?! (where the Jamsport guys improvised) Lose it ! get a Decat !

Thats why i asked about the yozza decat, i wanted to know the size and length, would i need to extend the 2.5 bore to compensate for the smalled part they have added on.

i want a decat on mine, its just the hastle of mot`s that puts me off. along with the £120 price tag lol.

Couldnt tell you bud, the bore of the system is 2.5'' but if you mean the tail pipes then i have no clue.

I'll try and find out though
