Straightening lower sills

Had a slight argument with a curb a while ago (mk2 ph2) and my sill (that sticks out below the car wher you put the jack was folded under a bit in a 30cm area. What is the best tool/method for straightening this out?

plank of wood, a hammer and some bravery.

could heat it up to make it reshape better, but unless its visible no real need to sort it.

I wouldn't hammer it back to shape heat it up for definate otherwise the cracks will get worse just hammering it back to shape.
