strange electric fault/annoyance

i am a new 172 owner, only picked up last thursday, and tonight while out, when i put my drivers window to the top i kept my finger on the switch a second or so after the window had gone to the top, when i did this the hazard lights flashed once i then pulled over and tryed again and i now found it does it every time the window is at the top and i pull up on the switch.
just to add it does not do it on the passenger side only the drivers side switch????
