strange noise!

Backed my car out the drive the other day, turned the wheel on to lock and drove away and heard/felt a clunk as though i'd driven over a small rock, so got out and looked and nothing there in the road. Have also noticed when steering and the car is more or less stationary i get a judder through the steering wheel, not all the time though.

any ideas? 182 cup with bugger all mileage btw.

Thanks. It just did it again. was setting off, turning right into a road and as i was straightening the wheel i heard a clunk from the front passenger side wheel as tho i'd gone over a pot hole. very weird.

Check your top mounts and also the noit nut thingie under the bonnet I'd get its catching.

might sound stupid but check the wheel nuts are tightened cos same kinda thing happened to me when i turned right it shuddered when it straightened up lol

Maybe the ABS self-chech, always does this after start
