Streamline 182 mirror caps :@

So got mine through the post today. 1 month 2 days after ordering

look s**t hot but....

surely if you spend 100quid + 8quid postage you expect a bolt on part? i dont mind sticking them on

there is no hole for the nipple that tell the car the temprature on the passenger side mirror. :s.

is this me just being picky? really dont want to cut into my brand new caps

anybody else got them?

i got mine when they first started doing them, got a cut out on both mirror covers for the sensor and i didnt pay that much either!

spoke to a few people today and yesterday and today who have said they had the cut outs.

i think Lees idea of filing will be my answer but still i will contact them tomorrow and see what i can get from them as a sorry jcs present

got an email back from streamline today. They were meant to do this and have asked me to send the cap back to be trimmed

then ill fit them or sell them as im not sure if i like them or not :/

Interesting amount of money to spend if you aren't 100% certain :S

And it does say that the parts are bond on, on their website fella. I wouldn't try it yourself, in case you fudge it up. Get it done properly.

i was certain when i ordered them and it was a bit of an impulse buy tbh

but when i put the one that fitted on it didnt look that good imo

For me, subtle changes are the best. So mirror caps, fog covers, splitter, rear insert and side bullets.

Bonnet is too much, but this is purely IMO chap.

Fair play mate. When i first bought the car i wanted to get rid of it straight away. But it really grew on me.

So while at work today i asked the same question on another forum and i think theyve cracked it for me. To get rid of the povy spec appearance to colour code the base plates.
Someone did a vmod for me

what do people reckon. Personally i love it

I was the same, bought them, fitted them then took them off and sold them.

Looked great in the pics but somehow I just didn't feel they looked right on my car...

the previous pic was saved as jcscarbon*****. so didnt show. Didnt realize it would filter that

Yes im still not 100% on this but think the base plates improve the caps alot more

but again they would suit a darker car alot better

Colour coded baseplates always look terrible and chavvy. Sell the caps, looks much better without! Use the money to get your bullets coloured instead.

yep decided tonight once theyre back from streamline they will be up for sale. if i put them on i know ill change my mind again

coloured? or carboned?
