Stripes

As most of you know, I bought D11CUP last week, which in a previous life had the 2 white stripes running down the car.

Now I know these were removed a while ago, and until today, I couldn't see where they were.

However, I've just been out and washed the car, and low and behold. There are two faint stripes running up over the bonnet and over the roof!

How can I get rid of these without reapplying the strips (not my cup of tea).

Please tell me a respray isn't the only option? Because that's not a route I want to go down!

A decent machine polish should clean that up.

It's just where the surrounding paint looks faded compared to the paint that would have been protected underneath the stripes.

Is it not clear over base? So polishing will only buff up the lacquer and not do anything to the actual faded paint?

Unless it's the lacquer that's faded?

Cheers guys. I was hoping you’d say machine polish. I’ll book it in with a detailer in a few weeks. I can live with them for now. I think
