has any body got a complety stripeed out clio with a sub fitted somewhere and how but neately due to missing the bass sometimes with only 2 door speekers i dont want advice on how i shudnt of stripped blah blah but simply has anyone hidden a sub under a seat or tyre well etc?
okay the decent door speakers in fronts ok but surely if i amped these would i be able to notice a massive differance in volume etc of waste of money and time?
it depends completely on the speakers,
if the RMS on the speakers is high, then an amp would make a difference,
if the RMS of the speakers is similar to that of the headunit, then its really not gonig to make a large amount of difference.
but yes, using dynamatt to seal the doors and such might help,
if you really car that much about the music, leave the interior in!
What aftermarket speakers would you buy that wanted 20w rms???? Averagely, they're 50-100 rms and therefore vastly underpowered when running off the head unit.
If you want bass from front speakers, they have to be well sealed, this is where the biggest gains can be had.
run it under the trim? or get a passive sub (withou built in amp) have amp under your seat and then you only need to run two wired to your sub, or get an under seat sub?
