Stripped the interior today + New buckets

Today i removed my rear seats & Extras and fitted my Cobra Imola S Buckets & Harnesses which i won off ebay.

Will post up pics of interior tomorrow when its light again to take pics.

In the meantime heres an idea of how much weight you lose ditching rear seats etc.

Rear bench back 13kg
Rear bench bottom 6kg
Spare Alloy & Jack 19kg
Front Seats (2x) 42kg
Metal Bar in Boot 3kg

My new cobra subframes and buckets weighed a total of 36kg.

Meaning i've shed 47kgs from the car which is just over 7 stone

How you finding the seats? And can i ask how much monet were they??

Seats are very comfy considering there buckets.

The seats are 2nd hand but only two weeks old (So virtually brand new)

I payed £410 for the imola S seats (GT Width), side mounts, custom subframes and the 4 point harnesses

Still not the same weight loss as a Cup!

Nice all the same Rob...should have come to Cobra with us all and seen what price they'd have done them for direct...just in case

ive totally stripped the back end of mine and it feels alot better but as donnyo says its still around 50kg heavyer than the cup.

i love the stripped out look and it makes me want a cup stripped ect proper bad
