STUPID CAR !!!! HELP PLEASE :(

Today my clio decided not to start !!! when i turn the key it makes a clicking noise and then goes dead, i managed to bump start it to get me out of trouble and back to work, after work i bumped started again to get me home but the abs and steering light was on and also the stop light was on, so i just parked it and left it, any idead on what it can be ? bearing in mind i have just fitted a second hand engine ??

Battery? If you can bump start it fine then that sounds about right!

that was the first thing i was going to do, do you not think its the starter motor or anything else ?

thanks guys was a loose wire on the alternator
