Sub help please

Hey guys, the other day i was driving for like 5 minutes with my music blasting on volume 52 ( which is what i usually blast it to ) and randomly the base just cut off.
I got home andl efti t for a few hours tried it again and no luck. The amp warmed up and still has power to it, the fuse is ok too. So i took the wires out of the sub and tried it with my friends wires, it works fine.
My friend said it is possibly the wires from the sub to the amp but i was wondering what you guys think?
The sub works but it has very very very little power, cheers

we checked if everything was wired properly, thing is i wouldnt touch any of it anyway. like 2 years old? pioneer 10 inch. yeah im pretty sure it worked fine even tho we didnt blast it outside my house lol
how much does a new coil cost?

not worth repairing,might aswell just get a new sub,if its working on his amp though i would put his amp onto your wiring then youll know if its your wiring or not.what gauge wiring you using and what wattage of amp?

you know what, i dont even know thats why i leave all this crap to my friends to help lol
how much is the wire? its just 2 wires connecting from the amp to the sub

the coil does not connect the sub to the amp,its the inners of the sub,it is not worth it

but the sub is perfectly fine with my friends wiring, my amp seems fine too, i can still blast my music just no base

have you flicked the filter from lpf to full or hpf
