Sub into standard HU

Car  Clio 1.2 16v Extreme
I am looking to buy a sub with a built in amp, and fit it into the standard HU, whats the best way of doing this? Heard few ways such as, take power from rear speakers or need a high to low converter, any help would be much appreciated, thanks :)

It will work with that sub yes, reasonable way to get your car to go "boom-boom-boom" and rattle its trim annoyingly for not a lot of money.

how do i get around the "rattle its trim annoyingly"? haha

and do i just wire it into the back speakers?

my local halfrauds doesn't seem to keep it in stock, so i will get one off ebay, could someone recommend me one, for about a £10

to be honest i dont think the rattle will be too bad as it depends on what system you put in and how much cone area and motor force the subs have

to get the majority of rattles out you will need to deaden the metal panels with this

and then the next stage will be this

i personally wouldnt recommend going down this route as its really expensive and it seems you dont want to go for a loud install or a high sound quality install

typical! Halfords don't have any in stock and they can't order them in because head office don't have any in either. Amazon sell the same part and for 3 pound less, so cant complain. has anyone used the 12"edge sub before, is it any good, my mate has the 10" in a polo and it sounds good!

I got a female to male ISO extension as well, so I didn't have to cut into the actual car loom itself.
what does this help, surely once you have the adapter for red and black wires and connect the earth and to the battery, that's it? :s
what is it needed for? :P

edge subs are good for people who are starting with audio same with mutant/vibe/fusion

when you do install it please leave the bass boost alone keep it on 0 also the gain is NOT a volume knob lol
