Suggested bodyshops in NW/Cheshire

Decent ones ladies and gents, good experiences, just so I can ring around, find best price, but out of the trusted ones.

Only a tiny amount needs doing (boot trim above numberplate).

Audi; £243 - would keep with Audi service/receipts history
Cheshire Auto; £100 + part @ £67 - best so far and very good experience
Harpers Autobody; £200 - bad previous experience but on plastics

I know Harpers well Laur, but have had an issue with Clio parts before so not sure I would go back to them.

I got both my TT's front wings done due to rust. Both were caused by stone chips which apparently aren't covered......

i know/ knew the owner of bosley , thats why i went there.. never again lol
then i had his gf ringing me up giving me agro over the phone ... very professional... not

Laura, when the R8 had a chip on the rear, dad played nice for about 2 weeks. Then customer services director email, then letter, then call. Finally got it sorted

In a precise manner, the is a 50p sized piece of bubbling on the boot trim that holds the open button, lock and bulbs above the number plate, just above the "E" on this number plate;

without sounding harsh they will do most things for R8 owners, the likely hood of them helping a 8 year old s3 owner that bought the car priivately is slim..

i know it sucks and its not to say i agree with it but its the truth, they just arnt interested in cars over 3 years old in the slightest, inless its an r8,a8, rs6 etc

All I can do is try like you say. FASH, usual go to the press threat over 12 year warranty etc. See what fuss bringing dad in will create, plus have a lad who works there under the director.

Palentine motors in warrington is meant to be good but they will charge you an arm and a leg.

Auto Repair Specialists or something or another, probably the lamest name ever, but says insurance work is undergone there on the sign, albeit in a rammed car park. There's always all sorts of decent cars going in and out, he's trying to sell his ph1 172 aswell!

regardless of the name, Bodywerx in Radcliffe near me are brilliant. My mates iceburg 172 bonnet catch failed, the repair shop messed up painting the bonnet so he took it there. to repaint it and its a perfect match and a really good finish. Cheap too, 0161 725 9721 and ask for Jonah.

They called me this morning asking if I was going to book in. I said not at that price, so I've got some other quotes I will probably go with.

She then bargained with me . . . I mean wtf?? So told her 75 + part if it needs it was best option so far. She's coming back to me!!

used BOG for everything, over spray on everywhere, ill see if i have the pics on my photobucket,

ask jon if he remembers the body work on my 1.2.

honestly wouldnt take it there if they paid me,

its ste that owns it and him n his dad that do the work,

they also did my mate jacks honda, full respray, spreped it and sanded it then left it outside for a week, loads of parches of surface rust that they just sprayed over, started bubbling not too long after it was done, unfortunately jack was killed last year so dont know what its like now
