Suggestions on engine bay colours

Hi all,

I am looking for some inspiration on what colour to paint the cam cover, inlet manifold and ancillaries for my new engine, the engine bay on the Megane is quite busy so I don't want the colour to be lost.

It currently looks like this:

And the parts I've had vapour blasted on the new engine:

I will be running all blue silicone hoses on the new engine, including coolant.

Let me know your thoughts.

I was thinking anthracite, same as the mirror caps, but would a dark colour be lost in the busy bay?

Blue to match your hoses?? although if it was me, a nice dark colour would be preferable as then it doesnt need to keep getting cleaned!!

I do actually like the finish but worried about it absorbing dirt / getting surface corrosion like the original finish and looking pants after 12 months hmmm...

Just keep on top of cleaning it.

You could get them powder coated silver. Easy to clean when they get dirty. I just got the rocket cover on my Williams powder coated silver really makes a difference.

Powder coating is the best way as its so easy to clean! Silver or gloss black IMO keep it subtle
