Suggestions to fix my phone please

Problem: Trying to send a text message it says Failed Message Barred. Sent to Drafts.

Been on to Virgin Mobile 3 times and each time they tell me to do the same thing.

Check the service centre number is correct. Yes

Remove battery then put it back in again. Done

After doing that I can send a text, but the next attempt at sending a text it fails with same error.

Sony Ericsson K750i (very low mileage).

Could be a phone issue.

Tried updating the firmware on the phone?

Via the SE update utility....

I had the same sort of issue with my N96, had to change the network settings from Dual band to GSM then it worked............

I think it may be time for a new phone.

tried sending a reply rather than an new message? I've had that issue before
