Since I was staying North Wales over the weekend, I felt it rude not to go for a drive over Llanberis Pass. Here a few pictures:

It was an impromtu trip to be honest. The sun was setting, the roads were dry and I was 20 miles from one of the best roads in Britain. I said to my female, 'I'm going for a drive and you're not coming.'

was there on Thursday! see you've managed to find a quiet spot for pictures which isn't easy. stunning scenery running up and down that road; i took a couple myself but photos just don't seem to convey the scene. nice just to meander up relatively slowly, exhaust note bouncing off the shallow stone walls

I am tempted to go back this weekend. I have been looking at the Lakes, the Dales and all of Wales and North Wales seems to have the best weather outlook.
