Actually are you on about the gaiter? So yes you're right, but I was referring to a yellow stitch gear knob - been after one of these for ages and can't find a part number for it.

I was thinking the same initially, but the washer bottle lid paint is cracking, as it's too thin plastic, so to have that yellow and the rest green just couldn't happen......

Well a little update today!

After a 980 mile round trip yesterday, I returned with a full interior...... just a few snap shots of the larger bits, so bar a few isolated trims and an ISO fix bar I have the full interior.....

Yeah it took a while to find the right deal, you know the problem!!

The headlining is the only issue, cleaned up very well but there is a slight depression in it! so I'm going to have to see if steam will assist or it will be another one !

It's now the great fun of putting the big jigsaw together 🙈 I've even picked up the curtain air bags and foam fillers for the rear quarters Back to factory!

Wow big changes Craig. Will be good to see how you put your own mark on this car.
I would be tempted to change the headlining to black if your going to re cover it.

That's the thought Neil, I fancy an alcantara covering and the only change would be spraying the rear quarter covers at the boot above the parcel shalf grey to match as the front a pillars are already high gloss black in the car with the gauge pods....

Maybe not Cally, it will come and visit though..... I feel that it deserves a shot at a quick lap just to see how it compares with the Trophy, but I am so impressed with the quality of build thus far, and the condition of the car, that it's seems a shame to do that to it!

I'm trying the guy around from your house mate. Wheel coat. Dropped them in today. Few people have said he makes a good job.... I'll text you his details mate

Look pretty decent in that pic.

I've never really liked these wheels but they are track wheels so I suppose it doesn't matter as much. Obviously that's my views but it is your car!

I'd agree Mark. But purely track as you say. Also the price I got them for with the 888s, And even the refurb now is still a bargain......

Meh, it's no Trophy... :tonguewink: Other than that it looks ok I guess... ;)

Craig - it would kill me knowing I have a weapon tucked up in the garage but not driving it until April!

Andy, i understand comments............ part of me wishes I had kept the Trophy and just bought this as well. I always said i would never sell it as it was a creation of passion / obsession and was certainly worth more to me than it went for in more ways in one !! I guess you know that feeling only to well....................!!

Yeah the storage through the winter is a killer mate, but the fact that the car comes out pristine means its worth it, that and work has just been over the top this last 2 years and has meant that the time just isn't there regardless..................... That is going to change soon though! (made worse by having a garage full of parts waiting to go on / in it too) 🙈

I'm only pulling your leg mate ;) Your Trophy was amazing... but so is this. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it and what plans you have for it. All the best mate!
