Supersprint Exhausts

  RS Clio 172 Cup
Has anyone on here had any experience with supersprint exhausts on a clio???
Im sure fit & build quality will be first class after having them on my two previous cars, Im just wondering what they sound like on a clio 172???
The one I had on my punto sporting was quiet (but gave proven gains) and the one on my 106 gti was loud and spat flames like a biatch!

"the one" to have is the 63.5mm or 70mm race systems, they stopped production of them years ago, some on here have them (i do) and they're epic! not for gays with pansy ears

the yozzasport race system is based on the supersprint race system, when we (well when i was there) developed it, we basically followed the supersprint design and removed some of the weak points to create what in our opinion is the ultimate system! the supersprint although brilliant had some weak points such as the sleeve joints (which i hate with a passion, so weak, but very nice how they integrated the clamping system into the sleeves) and also the design of the rear box was a slight comprimise, it had been designed to be as hidden as possible and hence didn't offer much room for axle clearance on low track cars, so we altered that (that's why the rear box is the way it is on the YS)

Is the tailpipe larger on the YS system Fred? The only thing that put me off about it is the look, the supersprint diameter (like omp) seemed much more subtle and suited to an under the bumper style exhaust.

i have a supersprint exhaust for clio rs 172
it sounds not much on lower revs
but after 4000 it sounds much more
i have a tube mid exhaust
my friend takes it off and after headers he apply a straight pipe till the end
and it sounds much more louder

:cool:do you highly rate the 182 exhaust system that yozza do for trackdays mate

yes as i helped develop it! ;)

the tailpipe on the YS race system is the same diameter as the supersprint (the omp one is smaller than them both)

oh i forgot to add, with HARD use we managed to blow all the sound deadening material out of the rear silencer on the supersprint, so hence we made the YS race repackable (to repack the supersprint you have to cut it open)

here's my supersprint 63.5 race system on the dynacup
