supplyin my own oil on 1st service

right been quoted £170 for my first service on my 172, but if i supply my own oil its £120.

So im sure i can get 5-6 litres of better oil and still have change to spare?

the renault garage said i need 10/40 semi synthetic.

What should i buy?

Call 01977 603363 and ask for Debra and mention ClioSport..............24lts of Elf Excellium LDX 5W40 fully synthetic £64.01 delivered.

This will cover the next 4 services.

You dont want 10/40 semi synth.

I just had my first service on my 172 and the synthetic oil from Renault cost me £62.

They charged me £205 for the whole service.

what fully should i buy? and what grade

I run Shell UltraHelix fully synth 5w40 in mine.

not going to effect my warranty as im not having the 10w 40 they say??

ill go down town at lunch and get some 5w 40

Read the service manual it states 5w40 fully synth.

I have 5w - 40 Mobil 1 Fully Synth. Bought from a French Hypermarket at the cost of £24.

Its not just beer and wine thats cheap in France.

But youll still need oil PJ and its the same for the Vee just like mine.
