182 manifold I think, and matched inlet.

Maxogen and matching for me next, once I've got everything there is to be had from weight loss.

Mods done are, 182 manifold, superchip,bmc, decat and exhaust

Well i guess we can confirm that the Surrey RR isn't too optimistic, which makes change.

Interesting that you got 10bhp more than Brian, i can't see the ECU making that much difference? Personally i think that supports evidence that the Cup engine is different to the normal 172s...

I'm starting to think that is the case too. Fine with me!

What I'm wondering now is if inlet manifold matching is so worth while on a Cup. Not as much to gain maybe?

LOL, just read this. 176.4bhp isn't a bad figure for mine. It's comparable to everyone else's who ran that day.
