Suspension fitment advice

Afternoon all,
Hoping someone in the know can assist, in the process of fitting new wishbones and arb bushes to the phase 1, put the new bushes in fine, trying to get the arb back onto the wishbone is not happening. Even the little bracket that holds the outer bush to the wishbone doesn't line up. Is there a difference between normal and phase 1 wishbones? I'm tearing my hair out with this motor nothing wants to play ball.

It's all on stands on the chassis rails, been informed by @Coops Mk1 phase 1 wishbone's are different 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ purse strings don't allow for a new set from rpd though

Yeah I fancied a good few months off on a sick note so I fired it off🤣 In all seriousness though it's agony I wouldn't recommend

Aye I was near sure I nearly lost the end of my middle finger the other day after a manhole cover fell on it and I pulled it back in natural reaction to pain. Luckily it just smashed my nail and pissed blood everywhere🤣

Width is no different at the arb though so this doesn't make any sense 🤔

What does the other side look like? Maybe the arb has slid over more towards the passenger side?

Ouch 😬 good job you didn't chop it off, nhs had me waiting in a&e waiting room for hours with blood gushing on the floor before they got me some drugs and a bed 🤦‍♀️
The arb is pretty central, its about 2inches too far back both sides though, I will take some better pictures tomorrow

You have the old wishbones to compare to but I dont think they are different.

Compared them when I first took them off about 6 months ago now and they seemed identical, then threw the old ones in the metal bin 🤦‍♀️
